L.A. Moore was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She has always had a passion for books. As a child, she became an avid reader, taking refuge and solitude in the adventures of the books she read. She began writing poetry and short stories in her teens. However, she tucked away her passions to pursue higher education and began working as a professional counselor.
Besides writing, L.A. uses her creative gifts as a writer, playwright, singer, and poet to instill messages of faith, hope, love, healing, and forgiveness. She is now ready to return to her passion once again to see if she can give at least a portion of what others have given to her through their gift of writing. Victory's Rain is L.A. Moore's first novel.
Mount Ephraim had always been a beacon of light in the community despite the fact the lack of regard for all things holy had filtered its way into the leadership long ago. Evangelist Conney Rae Stafford is adamant to make
a difference in the lives of those around her, but not everyone is a fan of her commitment. The new pastor has
a zeal for righteousness, but since light and darkness don’t mix, a destructive power struggle is ignited.
Conney becomes acquainted with a mysterious young girl by way of divine intervention. Over time, she finds herself caring for the young girl as she would her own daughter—unaware that she has a dangerous secret that threatens to destroy her. In the end, will goodness win or will the dark forces consume even the very elect?
