Writing great Inspirational Christian Romances, Thrillers, Nonfiction, Memoir, Self-help and works to encourage are author Paula Rose Michelson’s passion. Her desire to inspire others comes from being a late reader, who discovered books were her best friends! A lover of inspiring fictions where the heroine was one for her families’ sake, she writes about amazing women, and unique faith challenges. When asked about her idea for The Naomi Chronicles, Paula likes to say, "I cannot take all the credit for Naomi started telling me her story, and together we penned the six fictions."
When not involved in writing, speaking or helping other writers, Paula pursues other passions while supporting her husband Ron who is a Lutheran Pastor and Chosen People Ministries field missionary. At one point, both of them worked for the mission. However, when the Lord called Paula to write full-time, she gladly left to devote herself to this work. This happy mother of two married daughters and grandmother of seven, has friends who often tell her that she weaves such wonderful tails they lose track of the time. Since both family and her ever-increasing reader family matter to Paula, she hopes to impart a blessing to those who read her books.
Some who first knew Paula as the founder, head, and facilitator of LAMB Ministries, have mentioned that a few of those biblical teachings are found within her books. Paula knows this to be true for her desire to faithfully depict Gods love, compassion, and forgiveness while showing her readers The Jewish Messiah of Israel and the world parallel her wish to see those who feel 'less than' restored to wholeness. Therefore, within each of her books, she includes a few of the teachings God gifted her so readers can overcome and feel good about themselves.
In love. Chaz and Naomi have waited forever. With the consummation of their wedding vows, Naomi discovers what it feels like to be loved and to love. But, the next morning Lola who caused Naomi to flee, comes to live in the casa again. Due to an embezzlement trial, Chaz must leave a pregnant, bedridden Naomi in Lola's care. Their time together heals each woman's heart. When Lola asks, Naomi teaches her about God's Word. With two wedding dinners, a marriage, the birth of three babies, and Chaz finding and bringing Naomi's sisters and mother for a visit there is much to celebrate. However, a riot at the park leads to Naomi's life being threatened with the knife now held at her throat. Will what is said cause her death? Only God and those who read this book will know!
The Naomi Chronicles were written to be read one after the other.
However, each book is a stand-alone and can be read independently of each other.

In the 1960's and 70's, Russ Scalzo was the front man for The Hallmarks, a band popular along the Jersey Shore. At age 17 he wrote Soul Shakin' Psychedelic Sally and signed a record contract with Mercury Records. The song was debuted on Dick Clark's American Bandstand on October 7, 1967. After a life changing experience with Jesus Christ, Russ went from performing in bars and clubs to ministering in churches and touring the U.S. and Canada with his band, Saved By Grace. He has written too many songs to count, including music for several original musicals. He is the co-founder and president of a non-profit Christian theater company based in New Jersey, Lighthouse Stage Productions. Russ currently resides on the Jersey Shore with his wife of 40+ years. A supernatural thriller. A titanic clash between good and evil. An unexpected love story. Jack Bennett has an unusual gift. His coveted ability means he is the FBI’s newest hire, serving as a consultant for their new Paranormal Division. The government is convinced we are not alone in this world. With invisible forces all around, agencies are seeking how to harness that power for their own uses. The mystery swirling around the unseen and unknown has caused much speculation. Some suppose lost souls are wandering the earth, others believe deceased loved ones never truly moved on, and still there are those who are convinced that aliens have infiltrated our world.
Jack Bennett knows better. He knows who and what these powers are. The ancient scriptures talk about a great evil that was conceived in the depths of eternity. There, a great war occurred in a place called Heaven. Lucifer,
the ancient serpent, the evil dragon of folklore, was cast out and bound to the earth and confined to its surrounding atmosphere. Could it be that the evil we see is inspired by a dark kingdom, a demonic spiritual
force at war with the human race? Could these princes and rulers of darkness be influencing our world today?
Jack Bennett knows this is the truth. He knows because he encounters them every day. Follow Jack Bennett
and Frank Lederman as they battle the realm of Hidden Thrones.

Mighty the cat wants to enter the VIP kitty competition and lets nothing get in the way; he doesn’t let barf,
a cute kitten, and even his feline brother, Brennon, stop him. Mighty and Brennon brainstorm some not so award winning ideas for the contest, but finally decide to perform a feat which scares even brave cats. During the performance, an accident occurs and makes Mighty think fast on his paws. The felines’ valiant actions are recognized as heroic, and the feline brothers are presented with an odd award which Mighty secretly thinks is worse than getting coal for Christmas.
Mighty and Brennon practice what they think of as ‘exemplary behavior’ but still end up in cat behavior school. While at school, Mighty begins to hear strange buzzing sounds coming from the outdoors. These sounds are ominous to Mighty, and he later learns that they come from a machine called Vacuum Man which was first seen at the VIP kitty competition. The machine destroys almost anything on its path, and no one knows how to stop it. No one can figure out who Vacuum Man is. Mighty meets a certain Mr. Know-It-All cat at the behavior school who reveals the shocking news that Vacuum Man is headed towards Jupiter. This new insight leads Mighty to believe that Vacuum Man will destabilize the largest vacuum cleaner in the solar system: Jupiter.
With some luck, Mighty and Brennon get the chance to fly to outer space with the dynamic Space Out Society (SOS). Mighty learns about teamwork, red swirls, and trust as he faces his greatest fears on the barren landscape with courage. Mighty and Brennon don’t see aliens on Jupiter, but they feel the red sparks of victory. In order to save Earth and the solar system from destruction, the feline duo must face one of the greatest fears that cats and dogs face: the fear of vacuum cleaners and loud buzzing noises. Will Mighty and Brennon harness their might to save the solar system or will they trip over their tails?
Penny Carlile was born in Marshall, Texas, and grew up, not coincidentally, on Rusk Street. She and her husband now divide their time between Marshall and Naples, Florida. Carlile earned her bachelor of arts in English and speech from Baylor University in 1973. She taught junior high school before she co-founded a direct sales company with her husband. It was during her time as president of the company that she wrote her first book, Points from Penny, a collection of inspirational messages for the company's sales force. The Girl on Rusk Street is fiction, but many of the events in the book are straight out of Carlile's own childhood.
When Lucille Harris, a beautiful young widow, moves into the vacant house on Rusk Street in Marshall, Texas, the lives of ten-year-old Bobbi Rogers and her two best friends are turned upside down. Neighbors begin to gossip when Lucille accepts a teaching position at all-black Bishop College and married neighbor Jim Tressell starts helping her with her garden. Bobbi takes piano lessons from Lucille, and they become friends. She also likes Jim because he's nice to Lucille. When Lucille is murdered, all eyes turn to Jim who has no alibi. Only two people believe he's innocent--his brilliant but inexperienced lawyer Rufus Cornelius and Bobbi. Set against the backdrop of the 1960 presidential election and the early days of the civil rights movement, The Girl on Rusk Street is a look back at what is sometimes called a "simpler time"--and it serves as a reminder that simpler times were often anything but simple.

How would you respond in the presence of someone who did something you had never seen done before, something you thought impossible, something that you never dreamed about? No doubt you would be awe-struck. You might gasp and say, “Wow!” Perhaps no words would come at all. It would probably be etched into your memory forever. However many times you might speak about what you saw, you would relive that moment and still be greatly amazed. People who saw what Jesus did and heard him speak had similar reactions. They said such things as this: “We have never seen anything like this.” “We have never heard anyone speak like this.” There was no special halo around Jesus that caused such reactions. Jesus fully entered into humanity. Nothing marked him as being from another planet. He spoke, ate, slept, walked, and talked as a man. What was there about Jesus that caused people to be so surprised? It was not only the friends of Jesus but even unbelievers who responded with amazement. And there were times when even Jesus Himself was amazed. Even today we stand amazed before Jesus, our Lord and Savior! He is ever super-amazing!
I began writing as a hobby while raising my two children. In 2015, I dusted off my stories and my dreams to see if I could turn my hobby into a career. My first story, Season of Hope, was inspired by summer vacations which always included a trip to Franklin, North Carolina, to visit family and explore The Smoky Mountains. When I'm not writing, I enjoy spending time with family and most anything that involves being outdoors, especially camping and hiking. I currently live along the Emerald Coast of Florida and never complain about the hot, humid summers, because that's exactly how I like them!
